Many people are self conscious about their bodies, particularly their abs. Some people spend hours working out the get a six pack while watching every calorie they eat. Still, there are some of us that just cannot get the ideal belly that we want. Here is a perfect way to start; the following foods have known compounds that target the belly area and melt away fat.
Healthy fats or Monounsaturated fats. Foods high in monounsaturated fats are nuts, almonds, pistachios, avocados, olives, dark chocolate, flaxseed and olive oil. Foods high in monounsaturated fats help lower LDL levels and help to regulate hormones that balance weight. These foods also contain omega-3 fatty acids which helps regulate blood sugar, which is one of the major causes of belly fat.
Green Tea. Green tea increases metabolism which is why it is so good for waist slimming effects. The compound found in green tea, catechins, helps with the increase in metabolism by boosting the amount of energy spent, increasing how much fat is released from the fat cells and speeding up how much fat the liver burns. Drinking as low as one cup of green tea a day will help you whittle your waist. You can opt for decaf green tea, which has lesser catechins, but it still gets the job done.
Eggs. Eggs are a good breakfast meal, but it’s not because they taste good with bacon or toast. Eggs are high in protein and it’s been proven that when people eat a meal higher in protein, they burn more calories in that day. Eating eggs in the morning also helps to regulate overeating throughout the rest of the day. So eat eggs for breakfast everyday, which can help you burn more calories and prevent you from over eating throughout the rest of the day.
Dairy products. Incorporate dairy products, such as low fat milk, yogurt and cheese into your diet because dairy products are high in whey protein. Whey protein is known to help build lean body mass, which in turn increases weight loss. Whey protein also helps people by making them feel fuller for longer periods, which stops people from snacking in between meals. Aim for three servings of low fat or non fat dairy a day.
Quinoa. Quinoa is a whole grain product which contains two times more protein than regular cereal grains, and fewer carbohydrates. Research found that people who ate the same amount of calories from whole grains as white starch lost twice the amount of belly fat as their counterparts. So start incorporating quinoa and other whole grain products into your diet now.
