Staying Home To Take Care of the Kids Can Be Stressful

There is an old myth that when a woman stays home to take care of her kids she is really watching soap operas and eating bon bons.

It does not matter if the person is hired, or the person is watching their own children does more work than one would realize, from house cleaning, nursing a sick child, to laundry and trying to keep bills paid. Some women and men at home take on this responsibility all by themselves whereas some have a companion to share the load.

So where does a person that is in charge of a home and kids that live in that home go for support if he/she does not get respect from those living within the home?

Stress and depression often creep into the life of a caretaker when there is no appreciation for all the hard work they do, they just keeping working hard until the body gives with health problems. Signs of such could include but not be limited to a sore back, headaches, fatigue, and they might fight the feelings of sadness and feel they can no longer focus on anything- this is a sign of depression.

Enrolling in an exercise program will give the body a boost, the mind will be challenged, and if you attend a class regularly you can make me friends. Many exercise clubs have day care for a minimal fee, or you could trade off with another caretaker.
