A long-time friend and I are both headed to Indianapolis to attend Butler University. When it comes to preparedness, I am a girl scout and she is an accident waiting to happen, so I took it upon myself to fuss over our self defense protection.

Those who would normally not be able to protect themselves when being attacked would be great candidates for self defense products. These products are empowering and can help an ordinary citizen that would not normally be able to defend themselves.

I once saw a movie wherein the lead actress dispersed a pepper spray onto a vampire for attempting to suck her blood. Unfortunately, it did not work. The vampire got away and was eventually killed by another vampire, or so the story goes.

I consider myself as the type of person who works hard for a living. With all the goals I want to achieve, it is only through working that I can find the means to do it. I become too focused on work, as some would say, and that is my personal choice.

I developed the fear of driving when I figured in a car accident some years back. I decided to walk to and from my office from them on. Since I had to walk through a dangerous zone of the city, I never left home without a defense spray.

We were lost within the revelry of a town parade when I over heard a constant beeping coming from a keychain that my buddy carried. She was nervous due to the fact the alarm had come from an electronic child leash, which meant that her child had walked beyond their set limit.

A harrowing experience helped me discover that there was an urgent necessity to prevent crime against college students. For eight years, I thought of the university where I educated others in Humanities as secure. But my own daughter was threatened with a knife in that very same place.

I was fast asleep when the loud barking of a dog startled me. I heard several footsteps as much more than one individual was stepping away from my front door. It was nonetheless very dark but I got up and walked slowly towards the bedroom window. From there, I glimpsed two shadows scurrying away on the sidewalk, seemingly from my home.

What mother’s heart would not melt every time a daughter says of her, “Ask my gal pal. She knows everything about me?” This, after worrying often enough that giving birth to Emma at age 17 undermines my mothering.

Everybody says that your work defines your personality. It lets you generate enough finances to get you through your everyday needs. It strengthens your personal relations with others. Generally, it helps you live and survive.
