Have you heard much about the brown rice diet? If you’re like the majority, then I say you have. There is a great amount of info available concerning the brown rice diet.
But what if you have not heard much concerning the brown rice diet? Is there anything you are missing? Or is the brown rice diet simply a trendy new diet with no substance?
There is not any straightforward answer to the previous questions, partly as the brown rice diet hasn’t been well-tested. In reality, there’s a real lack of systematic studies on the topic of the brown rice diet. And this should give you pause for thought.
To be blunt, it is my opinion that the brown rice diet is not beneficial to your health. There can be doubt that due to the lack of scientific information supporting it, there is currently insufficient reason for anyone to try it (at least until further information comes out). It’s also true that there are a great number of fad diets currently being promoted, and many of these have harmful side effects.
While, to be honest, I do not assume the brown rice diet will actually hurt you if you practice it for a short time period, it is not worth trying. There are merely a few (at present) valid techniques of losing pounds. These consist largely of traditional style dieting and exercise.
The key problem, though , with many weight loss programs is they don’t lead to long term weight loss. It is straightforward to get rid of some weight in the short term, nevertheless it is so easy to add weight in the long term. The cause of this is that the majority don’t consciously track their caloric intake.
Tracking your calorie intake can appear quite uninteresting, but there are several advantages to doing it. The first advantage is if you track and change your calorie intake to a satisfactory level, you are virtually sure to shed surplus kilos of body fat. Who wouldn’t wish for that?
