When it comes to dieting motivation is vital. We all know that. When it’s time to lose drastic weight with a VLCD motivation is even more vital. Without real motivation dieters have a really hard time sticking to the diet. Without some real and effective motivation…there’s a pretty good chance that they won’t stick to it. It’s not easy to stick to it. It’s tough. Without the right motivation dieters trying to stay on a really strict diet will most likely fail.

In some cases individuals who are trying to figure out how to stick to a very low calorie diet like the one required by the homeopathic HCG diet will attempt to get themselves more interested and dedicated again by spending more money. They decide that if they go out and purchase HCG diet injections they will be more dedicated to the rules of the dieting protocol.

Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous? It seems along the same lines of the parent who tells their college age child to find a way to pay for their own schooling even though they can obviously afford to cover the costs. They do this because they think that their college student will appreciate their educational opportunities more if they are spending their own money. I can recognize the logic in it. Dieters assume that when they purchase HCG Diet injections they will be more dedicated to the diet because more of their money is on the line.

In most cases going out to buy purchase HCG diet injections purposefully as a motivator results in one thing: a failed trip. This motivation technique doesn’t work. Sticking to the homeopathic HCG diet is tough. But spending more money and then trying the same dieting protocol again with more money on the line is not a good decision. Why?

The diet required by homeopathic HCG and HCG injections are the same. The difference between the two types of programs are only in how the HCG is administered (oral drops or injections). So going from the homeopathic HCG diet to the HCG injections based diet because the homeopathic diet was hard starts to seem silly again. Injections don’t make anything easier. They just add another level of responsibility. And they add the annoyance of needles. No one likes needles.

Instead of reaching for motivation through spending more money dieters should consider relaxation techniques. Relax, sit back and relax. And consider the day. When you’ve had a hard day it’s usually the diet’s way of telling us that something is off. We’re missing something or doing something wrong. Maybe we’re not drinking enough water. Maybe we need to decrease the amount of activity we’re indulging in. Maybe we need to remember to measure our foods. Any number of things could be the cause of the “bad day.”

You can take the hard day and make it something positive. It is something of an earmark. It made you aware of the need to change something that was going on that could have limited your ability to lose the maximum amount of weight loss. So the next time you have a hard day…take it for what it is. The possibility to have a better one tomorrow.

Consider your day each night before bed. If you can think of something that you can do to make tomorrow a good day then make sure to do it. And if you fail to create a good day then you can know that hard days are normal. They are necessary. Bad days are there to make sure we recognize it when a good day pops up. And in addition…knowing what they are makes it possible for us to attempt to generate good days more often than bad ones!
