Everyone wants to look their best when big events come around. Occasions like weddings, reunions or hot dates can be the impetus to shed pounds. If your goal is to lose 20 pounds or more within 2 weeks you have your work cut out for you. It will take hard work and dedication but it can be done.

There is another option for those who love to exercise and can make the time to do it. To lose as much as 20 pounds in two weeks, it requires you to do plenty of cardio exercise. At least one hour of cardio for five days for the two week period is what it will take.
If you plan on using exercise as your process to lose weight, eat a sensible but low calorie diet. Do not use these two weeks to try a liquid diet plan because it will not provide you with enough energy to be able to exercise hard for two weeks straight.
With this weight loss plan, you’ll want to reduce the amount of carbohydrates you eat. Substitute plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit. Eat recommended amounts of lean protein, as well. Make sure the fats you consume are nutritious ones like olive and canola oils.
No matter which diet plan you choose, losing 20 pounds in two weeks is not going to be easy. Be prepared to work hard and sacrifice. Stay dedicated and you will see results.
