That is where strength training comes in. When you increase your lean muscle mass, you increase your metabolism. That means you’ll burn more calories during the entire day, even when you are sleeping.

The good news is that any combination will work for you. Most people have fantastic results by going for a brisk walk in the evenings, and doing a few simple body weight exercises in the mornings. Just a few minutes a day is all you need to quickly put yourself on track to success.
