What Is The Most Natural Way To Lose Weight And Keep It Off?

Have you ever considered how wonderful our human body is? It was designed to survive through harsh and unforgiving conditions. And it continues to improve, slowly, over time.

There is one thing about evolution. It usually lags behind the environment by sometimes several thousand years. For example, our bodies are designed to gorge ourselves senseless whenever food is present.

A hundred thousand years ago, this was a great thing. Often times people only found food once a week or so. So it made sense that we ate a lot and stored a lot of it as fat.

If you lived like that today, which many of us do, you can see how easy it is to overdo it. If you want to lose weight, and keep it off, we need to evolve our thinking a little bit.

One big difference in today’s lifestyle compared to even a hundred years ago is exercise. Most people simply don’t get very much exercise. We don’t really need to, as our jobs our spent sitting down, for the most part.

If you want to increase the amount of physical activity you do, it’s best to add in just a little bit to start out. A couple sit ups in the morning, maybe a five minute walk outside at night is a perfect start.

Another issue today is most of the food we eat isn’t very healthy. Processed, fast food, most of the junk we put in our bodies doesn’t do anything except go straight to storage.

Again, slower is better. Slow, small steps to increase the amount of good food you eat, and reduce the amount of bad food you eat. Maybe one healthy home cooked meal a week to start is enough. When you trust your body to gradually make the changes, they’ll be much more likely to stick.

When you combine these two ideas, your long term health will vastly improve. You’ll lose weight, keep it off, and have more energy. And it all starts with a small step in the right direction.
