Do you put up with having a bladder that is overactive? Do you feel like you are often getting up to head to the bathroom? Have you tried out all kinds of things in an attempt to stop those frequent trips to the restroom when you are at work? Most individuals are convinced it is the intake of liquid that influences the amount of relief our bladders need during the day. This is the reason that a lot more people end up accidentally dehydrating themselves in their attempts to stay out of the bathroom.
Would you believe that sometimes it is what you might be eating that may be causing you to frequently visit the restroom during the day? The basic fact of the matter is that those number one potty breaks are simply a way for your body to relieve waste. You will make this waste product from both fluid and also solid foods. The waste you get rid of could be from things that are both liquid and solid–it doesn’t matter what variety it is in when you eat or drink it.
Vitamin C is quite important for fighting off illness but it can also be a major factor in irritating your bladder. This is mostly due to the fact that many citrus fruits are made up of acid and that’s why they need to be avoided both as solids and as juices. The major sources of this acid are generally pineapples (which isn’t technically a citrus fruit but is every bit as irritating to your system), lemons, tangerines, grapefruits and oranges. To acquire your Vitamin C serving daily, eat fruits like apples, pears, bananas and berries.
Try to not cry over this too much but if you have an overactive bladder, you should avoid eating too much chocolate. Chocolate includes caffeine in it. The bladder just isn’t a lover of caffeine and will make you take lots of potty breaks if you take in too much of it. The same holds true for caffeinated drinks as well. If you have been making a lot of trips to the restroom you should stay away from all forms of caffeine. Instead, you should pick out decaf sodas and coffees and also dark chocolate.
Foods which have high concentrations of spiciness can also be greatly irritating to your bladder. This could be hard to accept for people who like spicy food items but if you don’t want to spend your entire night running to the bathroom, you want to avoid the foods that are spiciest like wasabi sauce, spicy nachos, etc. If it can make your eyes and nose run you can guess it is going to make other parts of your body run as well. Choose less spicy versions of those foodsthat way you will get the quality without the irritation of your bladder.
We often believe that if the waste has come out of your system as a fluid then it must have gone into your body as a liquid. This is not 100% precise. What comes out of our bodies is just the parts of what we have eaten that our bodies cannot use and it releases that extra stuff (also called waste) in whatever manner is the most convenient for it.
