Wrong Doings in Hair Care

Proper hair washing is the first step to healthy hairs. For this, you need to pay attention to a lot of small details during your hair wash. First, shampoo should not be rubbed into lather directly on hairs. This direct rubbing damages your hairs right at the very first beginning. You are advised to do it like facial washing.

We should get suitable amount of shampoo on our palm. Add a few drop of water and rub into rich lather. Apply the lather onto hairs and scalp for hair washing. The lather produced reduces friction during hair massage. Besides, lesser residue will be left if we first rub the shampoo into rich lather.

People who suffer from hair loss problem may be frightened to wash their hairs. They think hair washing may facilitate hair loss. In fact, hair loss is not much related to hair washing. You hairs are actually lost when they are dry, but not during the washing process. In fact, you should wash your hairs thoroughly, especially for those having oily hairs. Thorough hair washing helps cleanse hair follicles and facilitate the healthy grow of new hairs.

Water temperature is another key area in washing hairs. The water temperature should not be higher than 40 degree Celsius. Besides, it is better to lower the temperature a bit during the final rinse. This facilitates the closing up of squamae and leaves your hairs smooth and shiny. The proper closing of hair squamae helps reduce heat damages from blow drying and UV damages from sun.

Do you apply hair conditioner after washing your hairs every time? If not, you are causing damages to your hairs. The hair conditioner helps close up hair squamae and reduce further hair damages. But, you should avoid applying hair conditioner to dripping hairs. Instead, you should dry the hairs with a towel first. This allows the best result of hair conditioner.

Finally, people with sensitive scalp usually blow their hairs without blowing their scalp. They think the blowing of scalp may irritate their sensitive scalp. Actually, it takes much longer time to get your hairs dry when you blow your hairs alone. The longer blowing time actually increases the heat damages to your scalp and hairs. Therefore, you should blow your scalp. Besides, your hairs need not to be completely dried by hair dryers. You may allow your hairs to dry naturally when they are 70 to 80 percent dry.
