Once an egg in the woman’s body is fertilized, there will initially be subtle changes in her body. There are a number of pregnancy signs and symptoms that occur when a fetus begins to develop. Even if a woman shows certain signs that indicate pregnancy, she should still consult her doctor to get a definitive answer.
Swollen breasts may be a sign of pregnancy. Shirts and bras may not fit. The breasts may also be more sensitive and sore. Many women are used to getting swollen breasts a few days prior to the start of their period, so it is not a clear indicator of conception.
If the female doesn’t get her period for the month or if there is light spotting, it could mean the egg has been fertilized. When a woman becomes pregnant, the menstrual cycle stops. Even though, a woman won’t get her period, she may still feel some cramping. As soon as the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall, the uterus begins to expand to accommodate a growing fetus.
Females who are pregnant may also feel unusually fatigued or exhausted. The body is getting used to the embryo inhabiting the uterus. A portion of the oxygen, blood, and nutrients used to help the female participate in daily activities are being distributed the growing embryo. As a result, the female may not feel as energized or becomes tired easily.
Nausea and dizziness may occur during the first trimester. Even though nausea is commonly known as morning sickness, the woman may feel nauseous throughout the day and night. Fortunately, this tends to be temporary. Not being able to digest food can affect the blood glucose levels. A combination of all of these events and not getting enough rest can lead to feelings of being faint and dizzy.
These are some of the most usual signals of early gestation. If any of these feelings and events continue for an extended period of time, the woman should consult a doctor and take a pregnancy test.
