Know That It Makes Sense To Stop Drinking Artificially Sweetened Beverages

Are you taking steps at the minute to improve your health? This is something we do whether or not we are watching our weight.

The word is finally reaching the people that we must check the sugar content of food and drink as well as the fat content. These are going to add to your weight problems and overall health as we simply don’t need it. There is no value at all in these sugars and sweeteners as far as nutrition goes, so they just become more fat for our bodies to store.

The first thing we do when trying to lose weight is change our eating habits, nutritionists think that changing what we drink is of equal importance.

The news coming from the health experts is far from good. Our bodies are being overloaded with the unnecessary sugars hidden in these drinks and our health service is having to deal with a huge rise in sugar related health issues.

If you look at the list of ingredients on a carton of juice, they more than likely will have their sugar and sweeteners disguised as healthy sounding compounds such as sucrose or fructose, or even syrup. This is an extremely unhealthy, sugar laden drink and should be left on the shelf.

So nothing with these misleading ingredients ever finds its way into my shopping cart. If I want juice I am happy to pay a bit extra to get 100% pure fruit juice. I do also enjoy carbonated drinks too.

There are two main brands that I tend to stick to when I buy a carbonated drink. These are Izze and Fizzy Lizzy. If you can’t find these go, for the fruit spritzers produced by the R.W.Knudsen drinks company.

These drinks have a very high percentage of natural fruit juice, which we all know is healthy and very good for us. The fizz comes from plain carbonated water, so we are having a healthy drink which tastes like soda.
