Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary nutrients for you to eat to ensure your health. Humans used to get a sufficient level of omega 3’s in their diets, but now due to better farming methods, we do not. You can eat specific foods that are elevated in these essentials fatty acids, but they’re sometimes expensive and hard to come by. Flax seeds and walnuts are wonderful sources of these acids. They aren’t that expensive, especially the flax seeds. And they are a wonderful way to get the omega 3’s you should have. Walnuts can be more expensive and give some folks stomach aches. You could eat wild caught salmon and other fish, but that’s fairly expensive to do.
