Ask anyone who has been around and around with rapid weight loss diets and they will normally tell you the exact same thing: they don’t work and you gain all the weight back once you go off the diet. But is not that simply common sense? If you need to lose weight, you go on a diet. Let us think you choose Atkins or another low carb kind of diet program. You adhere strictly to the plan for six months, losing most of the weight you wished to lose. Now what? If you go off the diet, will you get every thing back? Obviously, if you go back to eating the way you were before. If it conspired to make you fat once, why wouldn’t it happen a second time? Does this mean that the Atkins diet doesn’t work? No!
