The food we eat is largely responsible for quite a few of the diseases affecting us. Instead of fresh, organic items, we prefer to consume foods like pizza, biscuits that are made of refined flour. In addition, the fast foods we consume incorporate extreme salts, fats, sugar and preservatives. Lack of fiber in the diet results in inappropriate bowel movement, which further results in very uncomfortable situations like gas formation, constipation, abdominal pain etc. In addition, the waste material that accumulates in the colon due to improper bowel movements becomes the breeding ground for parasites and toxins, thereby further compounding the problem.
