Anybody who has been trying to lose weight will tell you how difficult it has been for them to do so. No matter what new miracle diet may be out there for public consumption, shedding weight and staying size one is a strenuous, hard and seemingly nearly impossible task. Many people fail at the outset when starting a new diet. Others plow along, dedicate themselves, change the way they eat, exercise more, and in fact shed pounds. After an almost manic period of investment, weight loss achieved, one may find he deserves to relax a little, or on the other hand, might find that losing weight has not resolved all of his unrealistic expectations about how his life will change, and a gradual, or possible sharp decline in progress results. The weight comes back on, and negative thinking, and perhaps even other related problems like depression or low self-worth, ensue. Several people do not know that a clinical psychologist can be of great help.
