South India has hot, sultry weather and all its states are coastal. Rainfall is abundant and so is the supply of fresh fruits, vegetables and rice.Food in Andhra Pradesh is considered to be the hottest in South India or for that matter the whole of India. The place, especially the capital City Hyderabad has had as great influence of the Mughals. The kebabs and the Briyanis are not to be missed. The papads and curry powders from the southern parts of Andhra and Tamil Nadu are part of the southern culinary tradition. The idlis, dosas, chutneys, sambhar, vada are the common foods in South India and both Tamil Nadu and Andhra are host to those cuisines and even some variation of the same can be found all over South India.
