Bicep Machine Curls For Women-Are They Effective Or Not Worth Doing?

If you want to lose arm flab, you are about to do battle. After all, you are going to get bombarded with way too many different opinions on the best arm exercises.

You see, every expert has a different answer. And if the experts are giving different answers, how are you supposed to find the right one?

I had to learn how to navigate the lose arm flab waters the hard way. And I learned a lot along my journey. I’m willing to share what I have learned.

Now, I’m being so nice because I don’t think it’s fair that women would have to spend so much time and energy getting the right answers. Thus, I have decided to review as many arm exercises as I can as often as I can. And machine curls are on today’s menu:

1. Summary: Most experts will claim that free-weights are far superior to machines. And for the most part, I agree with this statement. Machine curls, however, are an exception. They are one of the best exercises for targeting the middle portion of your biceps.

2. How to do them: Sit down at the machine and grasp the handle with an underhand grip. Breathe out and raise the handle. Then lower the handle in a slow and controlled fashion.

3. Most common errors: Sagging down to heave-ho the weight up. Not digging into the ground firmly enough with the heels for strong support. Extending the arms too much which can cause stress on the elbow joint. And leaning too far forward which reduces the range of motion.

4. Final word: Do not underestimate this exercise because it’s a machine movement. Every woman who is serious about getting sexy arms should be going it.
