Low Thyroid Levels

When people think of hormones they don’t know of the one that produces the most power. It is the Thyroid. There is a gland over the voice box that makes it. Not much is made in a year, so it has to be saved and used carefully. The total amount is about a couple teaspoons. Here is its mission. It drives the engines in each of 73 trillion cells in your body. And on top of that, it keeps all those engines, mitochondria, running at the same speed. That is important. Consider a train with 500 cars of heavy freight. Now add 6 engines and space them through the train. Now, you see each engine must be the same speed of each other engine or big big trouble. How do you yoke the engines together from cell to cell? Yep, thyroid hormone.

Once thyroid is made it travels to the cells by way of the blood stream. Its purpose is to arrive at the cell and set the speed. Think of a high school band. The leader and the drums set the pace of the tune. If you are marching, each player marches at the same speed. If the band leader slows the beat the march can become a joke. If the beat is changed the marchers get all mixed up. The processes of your body all march to a drummer, the thyroid. Raise and lower the rate of hamper so that it is chaotic and you will visit many doctors and run through many symptoms.

There are at least 65 symptoms of low thyroid. While you are suffering, you will gain weight, be cold or cool most of the time, have brain fog and fatigue and will have a lingering fatigue that challenges the best to remain happy and tolerating this very common disease.

To enlarge and document my assertions, I ask you to order and read a book called Hypothyroidism type II by Mark Starr MD. I have great admiration for this book and feel it is the major reason I didn’t write a book as so many of my patients have requested. I have helped my self and so many over the past 25 plus years of recognizing low thyroid levels.

Now if one hormone can cause so much trouble if it is low, you should learn more about Thyroid and its general workings in the body. If you have low levels of it you are going to suffer. Next I want to give you some rules of thumb.

Only one thing is worse than not telling the truth. It is telling the truth that is not the truth. This is the blood test for low thyroid called TSH. Get Hypothyroidism type II by Mark Starr MD Get caught in the “your thyroid test is fine” zone while you are nearly low thyroid is very bad news.

The thyroid hormone can be blocked and damaged by many outside sources. To name a few: Estrogen can drive down thyroid. Mercury can poison the hormone. Fluoride drills the thyroid hormone and sets the stage for more disaster. Think of the accumulation of fluorine form drinking water , tooth paste and dental treatments. Remember the key words Hormone destruction and accumulation over 7 to 10 years. All of these trouble makers are thought of as safe and not at high enough levels to hurt anyone. No? Well think of Accumulated dose.

Panic and worry should set in. How can you diagnose your condition? Is it Hypothyroidism or not? Well If you check the work of Dr Broda Barns you will find he did hundreds of low thyroid tests by measuring body temp, They were done well and in strict lab conditions. (they just take too much time and are not well controlled to do them now. We worship at the alter of THE BLOOD TEST) Take a look at my videos and a couple of other blogs to get your feet on solid ground.
