The facts are in: For most folks, sitting down all day is very detrimental. Research scientists at Minnesota’s world-famous Mayo Clinic and elsewhere have shown that even physically active individuals who spend their work-hours sitting are not as healthy as they could be. Sitting does something to the body so nefarious that given a big enough group of physically active folks, those who spend most of their time during the day on their feet, evidence shows they will have considerably much less intra-abdominal fat, the most dangerous kind of all!
