The Dermatology Clinics & Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is the number one identified skin condition in the U.S. In actual fact, a few million people are diagnosed with basal cell or squamous cell (non-melanoma) carcinoma every year. Provided with these huge statistics, everyone is likely to have a friend who is going to have a skin cancer cut off. Yet, basal cell combined with squamous cell carcinoma are generally slow growing and are often not terminal. For example, less than 1,000 men and women die from non-melanoma skin cancer annually.
