In 1993, the Harvard Medical School launched the final results of research that examined the diet plans of those countries bordering on the Mediterranean. Their conclusions suggested that fat and carbs were not the key culprit in weight problems and heart disease, but rather how the RIGHT fats and carbohydrates should be the base for a healthy diet.
