This is the second part of our makeup and beauty application tip tutorial. Welcome back. With our first makeup and beauty article we gave tips for applying foundation to the face. Here is how to finish up.
After your foundation is applied you can start working on your brow and cheekbones. Use a light eyebrow pencil or an eyebrow brush with shadow to fill in your eyebrows. Blush can be applied to your cheeks. The best way to do this is by smiling and brushing the powder outwards over the apples of your cheeks.
Eyeliner comes next. While some people like to experiment with colors, the basic colors usually consist of dark brown or black eyeliner. Unless you are going for a very dramatic look you will have better luck with a pencil liner.
It takes time to perfect makeup and beauty. Eyeliner is a good example of this statement. There are many ways to experiment and get a feel for how you like your eyeliner to be done. Practice and see what you like best.
Most people use a pencil on the top lids moving from the inner part of the eye to the outer edge. Small, light strokes are used as close to the eyelid as possible. A lot of people choose to do the bottom lid after that, depending on the type of look you are going for.
One thing that is necessary to make the eyes look good is blending. Blend the eyeliner a little so it looks more natural. If you want to go for a dramatic look you can leave your eyeliner the way it is, otherwise blend by using a darker eyeshadow over the top of your eyeliner.
Use a neutral, light shade of eyeshadow to put on the entire eyelid. Then choose a medium shade color to use on the crease of the lid and below. After they are applied use a larger eyeshadow brush to blend the two eyeshadows together. Sweep mascara on your eyelashes to complete your eyes.
The lips are the final makeup and beauty area. In the past people used to line lips first, but lip liners aren’t really used anymore. You can do a great job applying lipstick without lip liner. Just put lipstick on your lips, smack them together, and dab excess with a Kleenex. Lip-gloss and tinted Chap Stick are good alternatives if you do not like lipstick. Once you are done with the lips you are done with your face. Go out and have fun!
