Yeast Free Diet Details

There are many reasons for having a yeast free diet or also known as anti candida diet to some. It could be for better health, or if you have yeast intolerance (which by the way is mainly due to Candida Albicans, a yeast like fungus). Whatever the reasons, to be effective, especially in the case of fighting yeast intolerance, where the body has too much yeast than it’s normal, you will need to be on yeast free diet for a few weeks, typically 6 weeks. Now many have tried, but some have succumbed to “temptations” or dropped out along the way.

If you are planning to go on this anti candida diet, to improve your success rate, follow the tips outlined below. It will improve the probability of riding through the ups and downs during the period or your diet.

First of all, have the mental readiness. Read about what the diet entails; what you should and should not eat during the period. View it from an objective point. Know the purpose of why you want to go through a yeast free diet. This is a going to do you good, that’s the reason. You love yourself and to have the best possible health. Picture a happy, energetic self without the problems of yeast or weight problems (depending on individual case). So you can’t wait to go through this “detoxification” process to get rid of harmful toxins from your body.

Next, write your goals on paper, together with your action plan. For example, your goal may be, ” I want to be free from candida infection two months down the road. My plan is to stick to anti candida diet for the entire duration of 6 weeks…..” You may want to cut out some pictures of yourself or other people who brings out the image of vibrant, healthy state. Paste the goals on the way or somewhere you can see it. Preferably read your goals and action plans first thing in the morning and before you go to bed. Now, I know this may seem a bit like another personal development seminar, but this is true. You won’t believe how effective you have tried it until you do! Test it out, the subconscious mind is very powerful, you’ll be amazed!

Now, in everything, a positive attitude makes the difference. This is no hype. If you start something and at the back of your mind, you keep saying this is not going to work, you know what? It’s true, it won’t work. Turn that around! Say to yourself, this is GOING TO WORK, I know it is! J Stay positive and you know what? It will work! If you need a little help, find a few motivational quotes or even funny comics, whichever way that motivates you and put that in your computer wall paper or you can print it out and stick on the wall again, so at least there is something to motivate you.

If you can, get a friend whom you can talk to and whom you know can help to keep you on track. You know one of the most successful strategies for weight watchers is the power of friendship or people who have the same goal. Find someone who is also going through the same goal as you and both of you can help ensure that you are on the path. If there is no one nearby who is doing that, having an understanding friend to be near and to encourage you can also serves the same purpose.

Last but not least, act normal. Yes, during the diet some people will have some reaction, especially during the first couple of weeks. There is nothing to be alarmed, check with the doctor if the situation warrants it. Other than that act normal. Sometimes there’s power in acting. If you don’t believe, try putting on a giggle and feel sad at the same time….got it? Our body affects our emotions as much as our emotions affects our body.
