Common Myths About Losing Unwanted Arm Flab

Learning how to lose arm fat can be harder than finding the love of your life. And most women do not know how to find the love of their lives. Now you may be wondering, who’s to blame? Well, it’s the savvy marketers fault.

Type the term “flabby arms” into any search engine and you’ll be instantly bombarded with too many gimmicks to count. It’s no wonder that most women have no idea on who to trust. In fact, one site claims that the key to losing arm fat is through underground hypnosis.

Please do not buy into this madness, if you do your purse will get lighter, but your arms will not! You have to stick to trustworthy sources of information.

And there are trustworthy sources of information out there. The trick is to develop the ability to immediately decide whether or not your source of information is bogus. Here are some common red-flag-claims that indicate a bogus source:

1. Weight lifting will make your arms get huge. Only if you are eating big Mac’s every day! You see, when you weight lift (and build muscle) while simultaneously losing fat your arms get smaller. Fat cells occupy much more space than muscle cells. Besides, you need a bare minimum amount of muscle on your arms or else you will never get the sexy and toned look.

2. Long duration cardio is essential. This is another common myth. You see, cortisol is long duration cardio’s best friend. Too much cortisol will burn through your muscle and increase stomach fat. So stick to weightlifting!

3. Low-fat diets are king. I can’t help but cringe every time I hear this, and I hear this a lot. At least 30% of your total calories should come from fat. Anything less, and your body will stop producing arm-fat-melting hormones. As an added bonus, you’ll also suffer from massive sugar spikes.

4. It’s your gene’s fault. Please do not use the genetics scapegoat. Genetics have a mild impact on the overall “look” of your arms, but they do NOT have the final say. Nutrition and lifestyle factors (i.e., weightlifting) play the biggest role in how your arms look.

Well, there are the top myths on how to lose arm flab. If whatever you are reading has any of them in it, it’s time to move on. Don’t let the tricky marketers get the best of you.

And don’t forget that acting on information is much more important than digesting information. The more you act, the faster you will learn what works for you.
