HCG Diet Talk: Have You Thought About The Buffalo?

HCG diet talk seems to be going around with alacrity. But it’s kind of hilarioius that buffalo is so rarely mentioned even amidst all this HCG diet talk. You could think it’s odd that I think it’s odd that there isn’t much “talk”. But think about it! Buffalo…do you know anyone who eats buffalo? Either regularly or even just…ever? I don’t think I do. Have you ever eaten buffalo? I don’t think that most people have ever tried it.

But it is one of the approved proteins on the approved list for the HCG diet. So it absolutely qualifies as a question for some intense HCG diet talk. What are the benefits of buffalo meat as a protein? Is it “healthier” for us than other types of meat? Think about it. The HCG diet limits us as to which types of beef we can have. It tells us exactly how to prepare and what parts of the chicken we can have on the diet. But then it just throws the buffalo meat option out there for us. And it’s not even limited. Is it a magical non-fat protein of some sort? Does it have fabulous, healthy qualities that need to be promoted? We decided it needed to be looked into; buffalo was absolutely an overdue HCG diet talk question!

Beef vs. Buffalo:

1. A lot of people actually consider buffalo tastier than beef.

2. It’s healthy. It is lower in fat than beef (by 70 to 90%). It also has 50% less cholesterol on average.

3. And that’s not all the health benefits that buffalo can boast (this is such a great HCG diet talk question)…buffalo is also higher in all of the following: protein, iron, omega acids, and amino acids.

4. AND buffalo is much less likely to have antibiotics and growth hormones in comparison to beef. This is due simply to basic characteristics of the magnificent buffalo. They are naturally resistant to disease so they don’t need antibiotics as often. And they grow much faster than domestic animals like the cow so they aren’t usually treated with growth hormones.

5. Other interesting facts that might make you like buffalo more: buffalo are generally raised on open grassland where they spend their time grazing on natural grass. This limits the possibilities that they would ever be a problem when it comes to issues like mad cow disease. And…this may be disturbing for you…buffalo don’t defecate in their own water source like cows and sheep frequently do. More than making me like buffalo more…that tidbit makes me like both sheep and cows a little less. Did it have that effect on you?

It’s kind of shocking that this particular topic hasn’t seen more HCG diet talk activity. I’ve only just started talking about it and I already feel that I should start incorporating it into my diet immediately. It’s very healthy and it’s very tasty. Apparently it’s easy to get a hold of through reputable online distributors as well.
