Anyone who has been trying to lose weight for any length of time will tell you that it is hard work. It is an unfortunate fact of life that it will take several tries before you achieve weight loss success. During that time, you will likely experience victories where you have lost a few pounds followed by a rebound period where you regain all of the weight back plus a few extra pounds. This is called yo-yo dieting. Not only is it hard on your mental health and self-esteem, it can be very bad for your health.
