As you write down everything from day one, you will notice that what you eat will become what you are in the future. The second step is to set a realistic goal. A goal that is reachable by your own standards. Do not set a goal like losing 30 lbs in one week. That is nearly impossible to do. Try setting a goal of losing 5 lbs in one week and see from there. Once you have reached that goal, set another one that you think you can do and you can achieve within that time limit.

Measure your body so as to indicate how much you need to lose and set up the parameters of your goal. By the time you have finished your goal, measure your body again and see how much changes have been made from the start of your goal to the end of it. This will tell you that you have either set your goal too high or you have set them too low and that you have achieved it easily.

You can also take pictures of yourself so that you will see the progress you have made in the past few months. As you take pictures of yourself every month, you will see and differentiate how much change you have since you first started out.

The last step is to plan out everything. Week after week you need to have a solid plan on both your workout activities and your diet. Make sure that you follow them religiously and you do not have any doubts that you will be doing it or not. If you plan them, you are more likely to follow them.

Try as much as possible to stay with your plan. Changes do not come rapidly but they usually come slowly but surely. No one has grown muscles and curves overnight. It takes time. Be more patient and learn how to endure months and months of hard work.
